How To Batch Instagram Photos & Edit Photos

What if I told you that I have a whole month's worth of pictures ready for April? This is coming from a girl who struggled with posting consistently because “I didn’t know what to post.”

If this sounds familiar, keep reading!

In March, I finally decided to take control and spent three whole days taking pictures for April. Yes, enough for a whole month!

You may be asking, how did I do that?

I knew I needed variety, so I…

  • Picked out 3–4 different outfits
  • Took pictures inside, outside, and product shots
  • Changed up my hair
  • Changed up angles
  • Included close-up detail shots

Editing:

When it comes to editing photos for Instagram, I want each photo to have a similar look. I also keep in mind the season we’re in. For example, since it’s Spring I want my feed to be bright, clear, and colorful. If it was fall, my photos would be more muted and moody. It’s a personal preference!

I use Lightroom/Photoshop for editing my pictures. For basic editing, I usually start with one of my presets and then play around with the settings to get the look that I want.

In my YouTube video above, I show you exactly how I edit photos!

Planning:

Once all of my Instagram photos are edited, I plan them out. I want a good balance of indoor, outdoor, and product shots.

So I use the app Planoly and arrange all of the photos where they look good!

Some people say that nobody pays attention to how your Instagram feed looks, but I do. And whenever somebody checks out your profile, your feed is their first impression.

That’s how I batch content & edit my Instagram content! Thank you for reading, I appreciate it.
